Overview:

Natural Resource Management for Resilience and Economic Development in Rural Ethiopia in short Growth for the Future (G4F) project is a four years project financed by SIDA. The project will be implemented in Central Rift Valley of Ethiopia. A consortium partners involving IWMI, FARM AFRICA, SOS_SAHEL, People health and environment and Sustainable environment and development ( SEDA) are implementers. The project works around four major outcomes involving: i) improved water quality and productivity; ii) improved bio-diversity conservation; iii) increased productivity and profitability of agriculture; iv) women’s economic empowerment and improved family planning; v) improved policy framework and institutional capacity. IWMI major role is around outcome i; iii; and v.
