IWMI signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Ethiopian Institute of Agricultural Research (EIAR) on July 22, 2016, at the EIAR in Addis Ababa. This MoU extends the collaboration and synergies between the two institutions in areas of research for development, in particular on land and water resources management within their competence and mandate. High-level staff from both sides attended the ceremony. Jeremy Bird and Dr. Fentahun Mengistu signed the MoU on behalf of IWMI and EIAR.
